Desperate Housewives
"In Buddy's Eyes" (#4.12)
9:00 PM - 10:02 PM
Now that we know (or do we?) that Katherine killed her first husband, where does Gary Cole (who is slated to play him) fit in? We'll find out in due course, but tonight Katherine must deal with Bree, as they're both up for a Founder's Day Ball award. The ladies should be advised to bring tasters with them to the gala. Speaking of culinary matters, Rick Coletti (Jason Gedrick) is back. What does that mean for Pizzeria Scavo? Meanwhile, Gaby continues to deal — as only Gaby can — with Carlos' blindness. And about that naked guy in Susan's kitchen: The Bree-Katherine Founder's Day dustup seems to have scared the pants off Orson.
Brothers & Sisters
"Separation Anxiety" (#2.13)
10:02 PM - 11:00 PM
Say what you will about the Walkers — they're over the top, they're melodramatic, or they're the best freakin' family on TV — this clan is close. And even though it always seems one of them is mad at someone else, there's a reason for all those daisy-chain phone calls and bull sessions in Nora's kitchen. But tonight, in the first new episode since February, the Walker kids could be in for a real shock when Isaac asks Nora — the biggest family cheerleader of them all — to move with him to Washington, D.C. Think they'll all fit in his town house?
Everybody Hates Chris
"Everybody Hates Earth Day" (#3.18)
8:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Chris needs to choose a school project for Earth Day.
John Adams
9 pm/ET HBO New (Series Finale)
John Adams, the second U.S. president, is often dismissed as a monarchist, which is somewhat ironic considering he was an outspoken champion of liberty in throwing off the shackles of tyrannical English colonialism in the American Revolution. Whatever the case, he certainly received the royal treatment from HBO in this terrific, seven-part miniseries that concludes tonight. Now officially retired from public life at the dawn of the 19th century, Adams suffers a series of personal losses, but he manages to find some solace in the December of his years through a renewed correspondence with Thomas Jefferson. —
The Tudors
9:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Henry demands to be the supreme authority in England.
