Meanwhile, Luke (Scott Patterson) goes a little stir-crazy after living with Jess in the tiny apartment over the diner, and he impulsively buys the building so he can expand. Yanic Truesdale and Liz Torres also star. Amy Sherman-Palladino wrote the episode directed by Gail Mancuso.

Back at home, Rory (Alexis Bledel) looks forward to a rare evening alone, but when Paris (Liza Weil), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) and Dean (Jared Padalecki) all drop by to keep her company, the sparks fly. Scott Patterson also stars. Sheila Lawrence wrote the episode directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino.
