After being checked for radioactivity (and discovering none), the bones are sent to the Jeffersonian where the team identifies the victim but cannot explain the green glow. The whole team gets involved as each of their specialties is needed, and they're led to a group of friends. The Jeffersonian team uses the friends' MySpace.com pages to find answers and information.

Season 4, Episode 3: The Finger in the Nest Original Air Date—17 September 2008 While spending some time with his son, Booth finds a human finger. They find the body of a veterinarian. Hodgins starts to realize how he's been affected by the turmoil in his life.

Season 4, Episode 4: The Perfect Pieces in the Purple Pond Original Air Date—24 September 2008 A dissected body discovered by a pair of teenagers leads the team on a search for the head and the killer. The team will get help from an unexpected source.

Season 4, Episode 5: The Crank in the Shaft Original Air Date—1 October 2008 Part of a leg drops into an elevator. The gruesome discovery finds the body had been in the shaft for a few days. Season 4, Episode 6: The He in the She Original Air Date—8 October 2008 Half a decomposed body is discovered by a pair of beach combers. They find the deceased was leader of a local religious congregation. When the other half of the body is found, they learn the leader had a hidden past.

Season 4, Episode 7: The Skull in the Sculpture Original Air Date—5 November 2008 A skull is found in a crushed car. The investigation leads to an artist who used crushed vehicles in his artwork, leaving the team to wonder if he made himself part of his art.

Season 4, Episode 8: The Con Man in the Meth Lab Original Air Date—12 November 2008 A body flies out of an exploding meth lab. As the team tries to identify the body, Booth works on a big case which could boost his career, but he's distracted when his brother shows up and shows some interest in Bones.

Season 4, Episode 9: The Passenger in the Oven Original Air Date—19 November 2008 Bones and Booth fly to China so Brennan can identify some remains. During the flight, a body is discovered inside an oven. Bones and Booth must solve the crime before the flight lands in China.
