Applegate) arranges a date for her boss with Dena (Melissa McCarthy) in
an effort to get him to stop a construction project threatening an
endangered butterfly habitat. Sam also has some butterflies of the
metaphorical abdominal variety as she wonders why Todd (Barry Watson)
has been ignoring her since their kiss. Jennifer Esposito also stars in
"The Butterflies."

This new episode gives a new meaning to "full-court press." The crushed remains of a star college basketball player are found under a set of bleachers, but Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and her team discover that he was dead before his body was crushed. Interviews with his girlfriend, future agent and teammates uncover multiple suspects and motives, and a possible kinky connection. David Boreanaz also stars in "Player Under Pressure."
